About ContractCode

ContractCode is a free online tool that generates mock contract numbers — smart YY-TYPE-SEQ schemes, prefixed sequentials and random alphanumeric codes — for anyone who needs realistic-looking agreement identifiers without touching real contracts.

Why it exists

Developers building contract-management and document software, technical writers documenting numbering schemes, and product teams preparing demos all need the same thing: believable contract numbers that are safe to use anywhere. ContractCode produces a clean, structured, deduplicated batch in seconds.

How it works

The tool is a single JavaScript file running in your browser. It draws randomness from crypto.getRandomValues(), assembles numbers in your chosen format with your chosen contract type and prefix, and removes duplicates within the batch. No account, no backend, no tracking — 100% client-side.

What it is not

ContractCode is not legal advice, not a contract management system, and not a source of real agreement identifiers. Every number it produces is randomly generated mock data. The honest-limits box on the generator explains the boundaries: test data for systems and skills, never for real agreements.
